This is an original complete issue of "The PENNY MAGAZINE of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge". A weekly 8 page publication which started in March 1832 & continued through to 1845. Famous for its woodcut llustrations and articles of topographical, architectural, scientific, biographical, natural history interest etc. In the title I have listed articles and/or pics of interest in this issue. In some issues there is also part of a serialised classic, fiction or poem - I have not detailed that. It is 160+ years old & may contain some very light occasional foxing or age discolouration, but having spent most of it's life loosely bound into a book it is unfolded & generally in nice clean condition. Despatch will be in a boardback envelope. P&P on this item will be half the listed price, 2 or more issues of this magazine will go for the price of one. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 003506
