Clean, tight, square and bright first edition bound in tan cloth with black title on spine. Lightly toned on spine, and page 91 has a tiny chip on foredge, otherwise unmarked and fine. Very good slipcase (indicating first printing) is over all rubbed, worn on top edge, but structurally sound. Collection of paintings from the T'ang period through the Ming and Ch'ing dynasties. The Wang Family Collection has been handed down and added to for many generations.
