1st edition, near fine condition, red cloth binding, prior owners bookplate on front pastdown, with a very good dust jacket dust jacket edge reinforced by tape, published by Houghton Mifflin Company, New York, 297 pages. The biography of John P. Clum and his adventures in the American West, most notably as an Apache Indian Agent, he was instrumental in the capture of Geronimo, he founded the Tombstone Epitath, and served as Mayor of Tombstone during the famous gunfight near the OK corral, and was partial to Wyatt Earp during the famous gunfight. Illustrated with photographs, including a full color frontispiece portrait of Geronimo, also tipped in is a copy of the "Epilogue To Apache Agent" by John P.
