Über den Autor: William R. Uttal is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of Michigan and Professor Emeritus of Engineering at the Arizona State University. He Received his baccalaureate degree from the University of Cincinnati and his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University. Uttal's interests in recent years have been directed at the assumptions underlying cognitive neuroscience. This book updates and continues his critique of the technical, conceptual, and empirical developments in our attempt to use brain imaging devices to study cognitive proceses. Particular attention is paid to new meta-studies that convincingly establish the distributed nature of cognitive processes in the brain.
