Inhaltsangabe: Presented in both Polish and English, Duzy Dzielny Daniel/Big Brave Brian is the story of Brian, the bravest man in the world. His house is filled with hideous beasts — slimy bog monsters, fearsome giants, and more — but there is one thing that Brian is terrified of, and it?s in his bedroom, waiting for him . . . Brian?s collection of grotesque creatures appeals to children, and his fear of cleaning his room provides the perfect starting point to discuss a child?s own fears and worries. The irresistibly alliterative text is great for reading aloud and makes for a fun way to introduce young readers to Polish or Polish-speakers to English.

Über den Autor: M. P. Robertson was born in Parsons Green, London. He studied Graphic Design at Hounslow Borough College, where he discovered a love for illustrated books. After leaving Houslow he spent a year drawing in museums, cathedrals and on the underground before specialising in illustration at Kingston Polytechnic. Among the influences on his style are Mervyn Peake, Heath Robinson and Odile Redon. He believes that more than merely decorating a book, illustration should be integral to the narrative. He currently lives in Bradford on Avon, where he works in his garden shed and worries about losing his hair.
