139 pp. Large folio, full score. Cream-colored linen with smudging and wear to extremities, with bright gilt lettering to spine and boards. Pages somewhat tanned with soiling at page grabs and some flattened-out creasing. Conductor's marks in red and blue have been erased fairly effectively. Leaf 91-92 has been torn and repaired with tape, which should be removed and repaired with archival methods. Previous owner's stamp on title page. The title page is a beautiful presentation with decorative type in deep forest-green type. The engraved performance rights warning has been written out and signed by Strauss. At top of TP: ''Wilhelm Mengelberg und dem Concertgebouw-Orchester in Amsterdam gewidmet.'' At bottom: ''Lith. Anst. v. C.G. Roder, Liepzig. Plate number F.E.C.L. 5200.
