Inhaltsangabe: "As lawyers, judges, members of the public and legislators, we should recognize the central role that belief holds in our systems of jurisprudence. The interpretations of the law by Lord Denning in his long and distinguished career have shaped not only the way law is applied, but also how it is perceived. In this book, Denning raises the issue of how society has taken religion and belief and incorporated it into our legal systems. While these systems are different in many respects across regions, the common thread across so many of them is that their core values are derived from the tenets of religion. During his lengthy tenure, Denning has increased that awareness of the impact of religion on law. During his lifetime, Lord Denning has articulated, shaped, and defined our system of law to reflect not only our humanity, but our spirituality as well."-David Kilgour, M.P.
