Über den Autor: Katrina Hoover is a writer and registered nurse from Goshen, Indiana. She grew up in Stratford, Wisconsin, with two brothers and three sisters, all of whom developed a love of words through the coaching and example of their parents. Katrina moved to Indiana in 2006, where she taught school before enrolling as a nursing student at Ivy Tech Community College and graduating in 2011. Her first book, On the Winning Side, was published in 2010 by Christian Light Publications. It is a fictional account, but based on the children's ministries she has been involved in, both in Wisconsin and Indiana. While in nursing school in the winter and spring of 2011, she wrote Blue Christmas about her experiences in a Haiti cholera hospital. After graduating, she accepted an assignment from CAM to write about the 2011 tornadoes, traveling to Joplin and the South with her trusty assistant, Sarah Miller. Along with her writing projects, Katrina thoroughly enjoys her job as a night nurse at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa, where God has spoken to her in unique ways.
