The story of Lieutenant Samuel Woodfill USA, from military service and adventures in China, the Phillipines, Mexico, Alaska, and Europe. In Alaska he supplied meat for the military with his hunting abilities, chasing guerrillas in the Phillipines, etc. During World War I he was the Recipient of the Congressional Medal Of Honor for his outstanding Heroism in single handedly cleaning out a series of German Machine Gun Nest using Rifle and Pistol, and the last Machine Gun Nest he resorted to a pick to kill the remaining Germans. Illustrated with photographs, and an appendix from the War Department with Woodfill's service record from 1902 to 1919. Samuel Woodfill was the most decorated Soldier of World War I.
