There are a few short closed tears, moderate chipping (mostly along the top edge of the rear panel), and one hole (smaller than a penny) at the spine. Moderate soil and some small spots. NOT price-clipped (5.00). It is printed in blue on cream-color paper, with the image of a small cottage on the front panel. Now protected by a removable Brodart clear-plastic sleeve. From the Dust Jacket: "Over 240 houses are shown by means of photographs, perspective drawings, outline floor plans and descriptive text. The designs shown are from three to six rooms in size and are designed to be built at moderate prices ranging at an average from $3000 to $10,000." . First Edition.
