A stunning production with coloured printing in red, blue, green, magenta and gilt throughout with decorated borders and with tinted full-page steel engravings as well as smaller illustrations in the text. The binding is straight and tight, superb for 180 years old, the boards are faded in parts but the gilt lettering and tooling is still prominent. The endpapers and pages are clean without marks, tears or inscriptions and the colour illustrations still vibrant. A beautiful and rare volume.
