Adolh Busch (1891-1952) was a German-Swiss violinist, composer and conductor. He was the founder of several chamber orchestras both in Germany and Switzerland, and emigrated to Switzerland when the Nazis began their rise to power; in 1939 he then emigrated to the United States where he and Rudolph Serkin founded the Marlboro Music School and Festival. This is the second volume (of two) and is an English translation of "Translation of: Adolf Busch: Briefe, Bilder, Erinnerungen." It includes Busch's letters from 1930-1952, Rememberances, Chronology, Family Trees and a bibliography and a complete index in the rear.
