Biografía del autor:
Brian Anthony Record, son of Eugene Record, was born and raised by his parents and grandparents in Chicago, Illinois. He attended public and Catholic schools. Later on in life, he also attended a trade school to one day become a police officer. After short consideration, he began performing live on stage singing. He was opening for acts such as The Chi-Lites, The S.O.S. Band, Ready for the World, and D-Train just to name a few. But his love for stage dimmed very fast and his lifetime love began, writing and composing music. Believing one day he would own his own publishing company, he knew the odds were against him. Very rarely did a boy from the south side of Chicago grow up to have a successful music publishing company. But with hard work and determination, he has established that very thing. Being the son of one of the most talented musicians to have walked the earth (Eugene Record, lead singer and songwriter of The Chi-Lites), he would have huge shoes to fill. Brian also appeared on the TV One's music documentary series Unsung when they featured The Chi-Lites on September 17, 2014. After continuing doing small jobs and producing radio commercials as well as web designing, he took on the task of writing his father’s first biography called “My Father in Lites” which would create another title for him, author.
