Biografía del autor:

John Etter, a Westfield, Indiana resident, retired in 2005 after more than twenty-nine years of service in the Carmel Police Department. He developed an interest in the Civil War during his police service years, when he toured Civil War battlefields while attending the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. The author pursued his interest in the conflict by earning a Master's Degree in U.S. History in 2003 from Butler University in Indianapolis and also wore the Yankee blue uniform of Federal troops as a re-enactor. John Etter has been an officer in the Carmel Civil War Roundtable
