Lewis is a naughty, teenaged Lemur. Like most teens, he is unafraid and unaware of the dangers that life holds. He spends his days playing and getting into mischief. Lewis meets other Ungells (animals) that have been captured by Uprites (humans) and starts a journey that will take him around the world in this nine book adventure. As they travel and have many adventures, Cirgussie, a 350 year old Galapagos Tortoise, the Care Taker of the Ungells, tries to find caring Uprites who will help Lewis and his friends get back home.
The narration of this audio CD assists readers who are just learning or do not have reading skills firmly in place. Children can easily do read-a-long helping them memorize site words. Sight impaired or special needs children can access the story and music which helps listeners visualize the story and while expanding reading and learning skills.
