Reseña del editor:
Set up by a jealous fellow breeder and a crazy stalker, the Whispering Pines poodles and their loving owner were the victims of an animal raid staged by a rogue humane investigator. Ultimately they were all stolen under the color of law. This is their story. While legend is full of stories of brave knights facing down and slaying evil fire breathing dragons, in real life the dragon frequently wins. In this shocking account of one dog owner's battle with the dragon of animal rights extremism - a true story in which the dragon prevailed - we learn the true nature of the animal rights movement, and how the real victims of this movement are the animals themselves.
Biografía del autor:
Katharine Dokken is a nationally known author specializing in individual liberty, private property rights, constitutionalism, and animal rights terrorism. A native of Minnesota and veteran of the United States Army, Katharine Dokken holds a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and is currently a Public Affairs Officer for The Cavalry Group. As a hobby, she bred and showed standard poodles in the show ring and raised service dogs and therapy dogs to assist the handicapped. Katharine founded, The Parti Times, a newsletter devoted to multi-colored poodles and published a total of 59 issues during the years it was in publication. Additionally, Katharine was the editor of a local non-profit's newsletter for five years prior to founding The Parti Times. When Katharine isn't writing about serious subjects like animal rights terrorism and the attacks on America's farmers, she amuses her family by writing short humorous stories about modern life.
