1910. Ramsay, the first Professor of Classical Archaeology at Oxford University, pioneered the study of antiquity in what is today known as western Turkey. He went on to devote the latter part of his life to applying what he had learned to the study of the New Testament. William M. Ramsay was a Presbyterian minister who taught for many years at Bethel College inMcKenzie, Tennessee. He is the author of several books, including "The Westminster Guide to the Books of the Bible" and "II Corinthians" in the Interpretation Bible Studies series, both published by WJK.
