Reseña del editor:
Adult humor, celebrity quotes, and joke book. Norman Cousins was suffering from heart disease when he made the joyous discovery that 10 minutes of genuine belly laughter had an anaestetic effect and would give him at least two hours of pain-free sleep. He said, "Hearty laughter is a good way to jog internally without having to go outdoors." Men, it's good for your love life. How many times have you heard a woman say, "I was attracted to him because he made me laugh?" Learn a few jokes or funny stories, and use them as an introduction to the opposite sex. When we laugh with one another, a positive bond is created. Partial Table of Contents: Attorney Tales Heaven or Hell On the Golf Course Medical Stories Political Satires Conversations with Blondes
Biografía del autor:
Bud Hulst grew up in Pasadena, California, and told his first joke at the Sunday dinner table to his family and friends at age 10: "Hours of happiness, months of pain, out comes little Mary Jane." "Everyone laughed heartily at the joke-partially at the fact that I didn't understand it," says the author. "I had picked it up at a joke session with 12-year-olds at school that week. My two older sisters went off to college that same year, and when they returned on holidays, the family always had joke sessions around the dinner table. Both sisters married men who enjoyed humor also, so during family get-togethers, the storytelling was always the fun part. This tradition has been the highlight and has lasted more than 55 years. "Ten years ago, I began sending 16-page booklets of humor every Christmas to family and friends. This is the eleventh year of this tradition, so I decided to include the first ten booklets, along with many new pages of laughter. To my dismay, not everyone has a sense of humor-but you can guess that all of my family and friends do."
