Neil J. Boyer is a practicing attorney in Wheaton, Illinois (www.neiljboyer.com), where he advises clients regarding estate and financial planning and administration, organizations (for profit and not for profit; corporate, LLC, partnership, joint venture), transactions (e.g., acquisitions, sales, leasing, licensing, etc.), real estate, intellectual property, marketing and advertising. As Adjunct Professor of Business with Argosy University and Adjunct Professor of Law at Fairfield University, he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in business law, strategic planning, marketing, and operations management, as well as estate planning and probate, charitable trusts, taxation, real estate and business law. He has held senior executive positions with major organizations include: National Director of Planned Gifts at Alzheimer's Association, Assistant General Counsel of Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation's; and Vice President of International Sales and Marketing at Pullman International, a Fortune 500 company. He is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and other forums and has published dissertations and articles on various topics, including estate planning and administration, long term care protection, and testimony before Congress on business related legislation. Mr. Boyer holds a Doctor of Laws (J.D.) from the University of Illinois, a Masters of Science in Management (M.S. - Sloan Fellow) from MIT, and a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) from Northwestern University. In addition to being licensed to practice law before the bars of Illinois and Connecticut, he has held state and federal licenses in the insurance, securities, and real estate industries.
