Whitney Hamilton grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and Birmingham, Alabama. She has written numerous plays and screenplays. Whitney’s films include “A Rogue in Londinum” currently on the festival circuit and premiering at the Lucerne International Film Festival in October 2011 and New Hope, PA Film Fest 2012 winning Honorable Mention for the Independent Spirit Award. “My Brother’s War” premiered at the Methodfest Film Festival 2005 and was nominated for best low- budget indie and for best actress Whitney Hamilton. It is loosely based on the first part of “Firefly”, Whitney’s first Novel. It went on to the Bluegrass Independent Film Festival, Temeculah Valley Independent Film Festival, New Hope Film Festival 2011 and the Southern Appalachian International Film Festival 2011.
