During 44 years as a professional communicator, Mr. Vassolo has written a half dozen books on diverse subjects including Kenpo karate, personal defense, sensuous cooking, advertising to Baby Boomers and marketing communications. He learned his trade in some of the world's biggest and best advertising agencies were he rose through the ranks from copywriter to executive creative director. During that time, he did strategy-driven TV, radio, short films, ads, promotions, sales support and other types of marketing communications for a wide variety of demanding clients in countless industries. Although he is now debilitated by more than a half century of Crohn's disease and many surgeries, he tries to remain active as a writer and communicator. His greatest joys in life all center around his wife of 45 years, as well as his two sons, two grandsons and two lovely daughters-in-law.
