London born John E. Kinsley spent most of his life living and working in the capital. From a grammer school education and following a short spell of semi-proffesional football British Railways claimed his early working life as a signal engineer at Wimbledon. Wanting a change of lifestyle as the 1970's arrived John entered the London Ambulance service and worked his way through the ranks to gain the position of a front line paramedic. The Isle-of-Wight is now home to John and his wife following their retirement and it was here that John first put pen to papper and had his first book published. (Capital City Paramedic).
