There is a dam north of the city of Mosul in northern Iraq. Mosul is the home town of the terrorist group called ISIS. The Mosul dam is in danger of bursting. If the dam breaks it will flood the city of Mosul! Bible teachers are saying that this flood would be similar to the flood of Noah. They may be missing the boat. There is another flood mentioned in the bible. This flood is predicted to happen in exactly the same place where the city of Mosul sits today! The Prophet Nahum describes the flood that destroyed the ancient city of Nineveh. Nahum said that God will destroy that same place with a flood. Today Mosul sits in the same place as Nineveh. So the modern day city of Mosul may be flooded again! Also If Mosul is flooded it could be another sign of Jonah that Jesus promised to an evil generation. The flooding of Mosul could announce the arrival of God’s Day of Judgment on earth. If Mosul floods don’t look to Noah. Look to Nahum and also to Jonah. In a flood the last thing that you want to do is miss the boat. ISIS has declared itself as the head of a new Islamic Caliphate. A Caliphate is a Muslim empire ruled by one person. A Caliph is the political and religious ruler of an Islamic empire. Judging from bible prophecy it seems that Islam will succeed in growing its new Caliphate but I don’t think that ISIS will remain as its head. I think that ISIS’ major role in end time bible prophecy is to slaughter its own countrymen in the Nineveh Province of northern Iraq and then to be destroyed by its neighbors. What is really going on in the world? Where is all of this headed? Will Al-Qaeda take Baghdad? Is all the fighting in the Middle East related? Why is Russia creating a Union? Has Egypt seen the last of the Muslim Brotherhood? What is the Pope up to? Will the Turkey-Israeli reconciliation agreement have a seven year term?

Craig C. White was born in 1958 and born again in 1964. In the 1980's he was an active member of Calvary Church in Santa Ana, California. The expositional bible teaching of then pastor Dr. David Hocking played a major role in building Craig's biblical literacy. He has been a serious bible student ever since. The views contained in my commentaries are solely my own. I do not accept other views just because they are popular. I try to understand what the bible says. You will find clear interpretations here that you will scarcely find elsewhere. Prophecy is a big part of scripture. Today the world is becoming more aware of the bible's dire predictions. We are looking over the precipice to the end time. Israel is at the center of bible prophecy. It will soon suffer the final seven year period of indignation spoken of by Daniel (Dan 9:24). Soon God's judgments will be poured out on every nation (Rev 16:2-Rev 19). There are a lot of prophecy teachers out there. There is also a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation. There are many popular views that folks have become comfortable with. It is my job to afflict the comfortable. I am not interested in chasing every current event but my approach is to understand what the bible says. I offer verse by verse teaching with an understanding of our times.
