Poetry, songs, and thoughts are the way in which I am able to express my love to God! In this Psalm, I allow you to witness my kneeling heart before the throne of my King - Jesus! For years I have recorded the goodness of God in many of my personal journals. Here I have assembled this book of poetry to uplift you, and to show you that we are all the same. We need God's Love to exist in this world. Oh, how He loves you and me! What would you do if you discovered that God loved you beyond your wildest imagination. Would it change how you viewed yourself? Would it change your perspective on how you allow others to treat you? I can say that without a doubt, I have changed how I view myself, and it has changed my perspective in life. Because of God's love for me I am able to love myself. Because of God's love for me I am able to love others. Because of God's love for me, my world view has been changed. His love makes me confident, it makes me strong. This love propels me forward each day, and I know that I can live on! The love of God perpetually raises me up over any challenge, failure, missed opportunity, disappointment, or grief. With great boldness and confidence I can stand and say that God loves me and He guides my way. This love lays a foundation that treads over all my enemies. "Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God." - 1 John 3:1 Because I am a child of the King, I have liberty. Free to do the will of God, I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes - Romans 1:16. Due to the fact that I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God and God raised Him from the Dead! For me that means that nothing is impossible, nothing can stop me from having the best of God in and for my life. With this boldness, I am able to do and be what God created me to be. I love the fact that I am able to say to anyone, at anytime that I am loved. God's love makes me fearless, it makes me believe in the impossible. At one time in my life I did not love myself; therefore, why or how could God love me? Well He showed me, by sending Jesus Christ to the earth to die for my sins. Then Jesus had the nerve to tell me He had experienced all the bad things of life that sin brings and overcame them all. He also told me I had the ability to do just the same, since I am created in His image. I have the mind of Christ according to 1 Corinthians 2:16, and I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. In life we have to know how to express ourselves in the earth, by not caving into the expectations of others. We cannot live our lives, trying to live up or down to what others think. Individually, God has created us with His DNA and He would like to see that fully expressed in the earth. My expression comes in the form of writing and encouraging others. Some of you have other talents that give expression to the Most High God. In my case I started small, I first created a newsletter for my household. Next, I began to edit for a magazine, then I began writing poems, and finally I started writing books. My time over the years with God have been precious, as He has patiently waited for me to see things from His point of view. God is always trying to get me to see and understand the depths of His love for me and others. With supreme wonder, I continue to voice how great my God is, and all that He has done for me. I have been delivered from the fear of being accepted. Delivered from the fear of disappointing my family, or friends. I have become liberated from the opinions of man which allows me to give free expression of who I am to the world. That is true freedom, to live in the manner in which God created us to live. Being confident in His love, and understanding that nothing will ever separate me from the love of God is truly the beginning of wisdom. Love is the anchor!

Tonya J. Montgomery is an avid reader and book editor. She is also the copy editor/writer for Black Wall Street Magazine. During her life span she has read over 20,000 books and contributes suggestions, assists with story development, and other proofreading services. Currently, she is working on her forth novel, as well as, transcribing the works of other authors. In her spare time she loves spending time with her two grandchildren or reading.
