John M. Hollands varied career included ministering to church youth for twenty years; directing a drug crisis center; directing the UCSF Sexuality Education program--teaching sexuality courses to over 5,000 doctors, pharmacists and mental health practitioners; teaching HIV prevention, sexuality and health education in several rural counties to people in jails, schools, emergency services and community agencies; and working as a hospice chaplain. His schooling included a Masters Degree in Religion from Phillips University, a Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley and a Ph. D. in Sexology from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. Dr Holland lives with his wife in rural Hawaii.
