In Prescription for Saving The United States, author James Louthan, M.D. takes a walk through time starting with the ideals that the United States' founding fathers had in mind when creating the U.S. Constitution, then continues on to present day government. Louthan describes how today's government has moved away from the principals of our founding fathers and also provides a specific strategy for returning government to its original intent. His strategic plan involves the consideration of five amendments to the Constitution. This plan would address issues such as term limits and paying off the National Debt. It is Louthan's belief that the concept of limited government is what led the United Stated to its prosperity and it is this same concept that will return her to her former glory.
