The book also covers ten of his most important town houses and a variety of other buildings from Croome Church to Kedleston's Fishing Temple. Eileen Harris is an independent scholar who has published extensively on Robert Adam in Country Life and elsewhere. Her last book, The Genius of Robert Adam: His Interiors established her reputation as the accepted authority on the subject. She is Honorary Librarian and Consultant to the Adam Project at Sir John Soane's Museum in London.
