Have I ever told you how much I love my job? I get to meet the most amazing people while doing one of the things I love most. It seems that wherever I go, I have an instant circle of friends—gals (and a few guys) who love and embrace this hobby as much as I do.Even if I haven't met you, I feel like I know. Thank you for inviting me to spend a few hours each month in your living room and for allowing me to share tips, techniques and my favorite supplies with you.Speaking of favorites, the following pages house some of my very favorite layouts shown on TV this past year. I'm confident that you'll love all that this book has to offer. The format has changed a little. You'll still see the "I love it" tips from me on every layout and quotes on almost every page. This time, however, we divided the chapters in seasons—Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Within each chapter you'll find all the events that pertain to that season.On the last pages of each chapter you'll love "Lisa's Challenge" where I asked three QVC page designers to join me in creating pages using four products that complement the season. Each page uses a paper, an alphabet and two embellishments. And to make it even more interesting, with product and photos in hand, I asked each person to create their pages within a specified time—30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 120+ minutes. Since I tend to spend less time on my pages (if you see a Bearnson face on a layout, know it usually took me less than an hour to create), I set my timer and took the 30 minute challenge. On these page challenges, you'll see a wide variety of "personality," from the simply stated to the more intricate and artistic.Enjoy this resourceful tool.
