Her clinical efforts are devoted to the care of women with breast cancer, particularly those who are young at diagnosis and those who develop central nervous system recurrence.' She is a translational researcher who designs both laboratory experiments and clinical trials to more effectively treat women with advanced triple negative breast cancer.' She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium (TBCRC), North American Breast Cancer Group-Breast International Group (NABCG-BIG) Metastatic Working Group, and the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance.' She has received honors and awards for her dedication to the practice of medicine and is well-published in the arena of breast cancer.
