This book contains enough ideas to carry you sanely through the winter season and all the rainy days in a year. What does a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) of three-year-old triplets and a 14 month old do to keep her sanity? Have fun!
This book provides ideas to help keep young children safely occupied, active, and happy. All the activities in this book are GREAT creative learning play for your children. They are simple projects and imaginative play with minimal mess, minimal to NO cost, and most are recycling friendly!
Most of the projects have been derived from watching my children play, as well as advice from the home schooling mindset. My triplets and their friends have tested all the activities for fun, simplicity, and "whine level". Some activities can be adjusted for young toddlers, since I have had to do so to keep my 14 month old occupied as well.
What you DO NOT find in this book:
1. GLITTER! Love the look but Hate the mess! Even the glitter that comes on some greeting cards gets stuck somewhere on your person or in your house. Try getting an itsy-bitsy piece of glitter off a baby’s hands!
2. TV. Our family loves television, but these activities try to help keep the television off for a while.
3. Electronic Toys.
Have fun, play, and enjoy this brief period in your children’s lives.
