John Cooke Bourne (1814 - 1896) was a British draughtsman, painter and lithographer. He is best known for his lithographs recording the construction of Britain's railways in the 19th century. Based in London, he published drawings of the London Birmingham Railway in 1838, and History and Description of the Great Western Railway in 1846, which contained images commissioned by Charles F Cheffins (1777 - 1844).A large original antique lithograph printwith later hand colouring.
