Handwritten letter from ISABELLA HOWARD PAUL (1833-1879), dated August 5, 1869, On top appers a drawing which she describes in the latter as "A Man passing through a door, with a long pole of his shoulders, and a little dog following at his heels." Paul was an English actress famous for operatic performances and musical impersonations. Document: 7" x 4.5" in VG condition; spotting on blank reverse panel. Two mailing folds.
