Beschreibung
In 1871 Simon Ingersoll, not formally educated, invented the percussion rock drill and established his company in New York City. His invention had an enormous impact on speed and convenience in a whole gamut of mining and tunneling operations. This scarce, printed on one side, price list itemizes the sizes and prices of his drills and parts. It is 12" x 9 1/2" and printed on thin paper. Though undated, it appears to be 1870's or 1880's and has two wonderful wood-engraved cuts of the drill in action. Condition: Mailing fold lines, otherwise fine. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers AM00242
