We want a first-class shipwreck. Why ? To make Asbury Park a famous winter resort. There is a very comfortable berth for a big ship between the fishing pier and the Asbury Avenue Pavilion. She should strike head-on, so that her nose would ram the Baby Parade grandstand, and her tail might hop around even with the end of the pier. We could accommodate her all winter. Pontoon or suspension bridges could be built from the pier and the pavilion, so that the ship could be used as a casino. We need a spectacular ship.
