Written in plainer, sparser prose, it has the tenor of a fable or a contemporary parable without delivering the resolution of a moral, ending teasingly and elusively. Born in Tenby, South Wales, Rhidian Brook lives in London with his wife Nicola and his son Gabriel. He is currently working on his third novel.
