Poppy O'Neill is a best-selling author specialising in mental health. She's written stories and poems since she was six years old, and now she writes fiction and non-fiction for children, teens and parents. She studied creative writing at the University of Chichester and won the Kate Betts Memorial Prize in 2019.

Gaby Verdooren is an illustrator who lends herself largely to the nostalgia of her childhood, and the strong mystique of the natural world. Her work draws from autumnal colour palettes, vintage fantasy aesthetics, and the occult. Her works have found their home within her self spun folk tales, characters, and unseen realms.
