Joy Bauer, M.S., R.D., maintains a thriving practice where she provides counseling to both adults and children dealing with a variety of nutritional concerns, including weight management, eating disorders, cardiac rehabilitation, sports nutrition, food allergies and gastrointestinal disorders. In addition, she serves as the nutrition consultant for Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in Manhattan. An active speaker in her field, Joy regularly lectures and conducts workshops on nutrition and fitness for corporations, public and private schools, colleges, and universities. She received her B.A. degree in kinesiological sciences from the University of Maryland and received a Master of Science in nutrition and physical fitness from New York University.
