I consider this to be the best text in this area that I have seen based on the level of detail and thorough incorporation of the finance literature. For these reasons, I would definitely consider using the text and have already recommended it to colleagues. I would rate this textbook as Superior. It is incrementally better than the majority of competitors for the purpose of teaching an introductory general MBA course in finance. It focuses on practical applications and concepts, so that many MBAs would find it interesting and understandable. I applaud and wholeheartedly agree with the authorsa stated objectives for this texta "the authors appear to have made major progress in achieving their vision."
