He also has extensive experience in the world of educational publishing. Drawing on all these talents, Stuart J. Murphy brings a unique perspective to the MathStart series. JoAnn Adinolfi was born in New York City, on Staten Island. She is the author-illustrator of Tina's Diner. She has also illustrated Mrs. Cole on an Onion Roll: And Other School Poems by Kalli Dakos, Halloween Hoots and Howls by Joan Horton, and Johnny Germ Head by James Quigley. She now lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
