Inhaltsangabe

A devoted small-town good girl, an insistent sheriff, and a reckless bad boy collide in this warm, tangled Texas romance.

The first book in Lori Wilde’s new series set in small-town Twilight, Texas, The Sweethearts’ Knitting Club is the story of Flynn McGregor, a young woman who’s always done exactly what her friends, family, and fellow knitters have told her to do—until Jesse Calloway, her bad-boy high school sweetheart, roars back into town.

Wilde surrounds her dutiful heroine with Froggy’s Marina and an ultimatum from Sheriff Beau Trainer—testing loyalties Flynn never questioned. Twilight offers little shelter from gossip once Jesse rents the square’s old theatre.

The novel pits Jesse’s motorcycle shop beneath her quiet yarn bins, shaking the balance Flynn fought to keep. The story follows their meetings along the Brazos River, keeping Twilight guessing which man she chooses.

• Second Chance: Jesse spent ten years behind bars for a crime he never committed, holding on to memories of Flynn and a custom pink leather motorcycle jacket.

• Found Family: The Sweethearts’ Knitting Club gathers weekly on the porch, completely unaware that Flynn secretly pays her sister Carrie ten dollars a project to hide that she cannot knit.

• Morally Grey Hero: A leather-clad rebel with a skull tattoo and a prison record proves his soft heart by braving a burning building to save an abandoned stray cat.

• Also by This Author: Million Dollar Cowboy, Love With a Perfect Cowboy and The Moonglow Sisters.

"Throw a penny in the fountain of the Twilight town square, and you'll be married to your first love . . . "

For ten years, pretty Flynn MacGregor has been turning down the same solid, upright man's marriage proposal. Her friends at the Sweethearts' Knitting Club tell her they're a match made in heaven, but Flynn knows there's only one dangerous reason why she keeps saying no: high school sweetheart Jesse Calloway. She was just sixteen when Jesse was forced out of town under a cloud of suspicion . . . but he's never left her heart.

Now Jesse is back, and every time she turns the corner he's there—gazing at her with his smoldering eyes and tempting her with his kisses. Jesse has never played by the rules, and he's made it clear that he's not going to now. And Flynn, who's always done just what her family, friends, and fellow knitters have told her to do, must finally break free and claim the love that binds Jesse to her heart.
