Lee Gardenswartz and Anita Rowe have been partners in the management consulting firm of Gardenswartz & Rowe in Los Angeles, California, for more than 18 years. Each holds a doctorate of human behavior from the United States International University. Pioneers in diversity training and initiatives, Dr. Gardenswartz and Dr. Rowe have coauthored numerous articles and books, including The Diversity Toolkit and Diverse Teams at Work. In addition to lecturing, teaching, and speaking widely, they write a Question and Answer column in Mosaics, the newsletter for the Society of Human Resource Managers. They have worked with corporations including IBM, Boeing, GTE, State Farm Insurance Co., Lucent Technologies, ChildrenÕs Hospital of Los Angeles, the IRS, The Los Angeles Times, UCLA, Walt Disney World, MCA, and Prudential Insurance Co.
