Thomas M. Thomas II is the series editor and founder of NetCerts, a leading training and education site for Cisco certification. He was previously a Course Developer for Cisco Systems and has worked on the Advanced Systems Solutions Engineering Team for MCI's Managed Network Services. He is currently an Instructor/Consultant for Chesapeake Network Solutions.

John C. Bass has worked in the networking industry for over ten years as an engineer, consultant and author of numerous trade magazine articles. He is currently the technical director of Centennial Networking Labs at North Carolina State University. John develops test tools and system tests for networking and server equipment.

James E. Robinson III has worked for over seven years as a software programmer and network engineer.
