Regis J. "Bud" Bates (Phoenix, AZ), president of TC International Consulting, has 40 years of experience in telecommunications and information systems. He is a wireless systems expert who specializes in network operations and planning. Bates is the author of more than 15 technology-oriented books.

Marcus D. Bates (South Mountain Community College, Phoenix, AZ) teaches wireless and networking courses. He has nearly seven years of telecommunications experience selling voice and data services for AT&T and a CLEC during the turn of the century. In the past three years, he has been a consultant/trainer at TC International Consulting of Phoenix. His works there have been instrumental in training curriculum development in Telecomm and Six Sigma.
