The second edition of Holtzapple and Reece’s widely popular text, Concepts in Engineering, introduces fundamental engineering concepts to freshman engineering students. Its central focus is to positively motivate students for the rest of their engineering education, as well as their future engineering. Text is for students who are not sure if they want to be engineers and the book almost acts as a "hook".
