Published in 1982 by Arrow Books, this is exactly the sort of volume Crappy Old Books is delighted to find among the usual shelf traffic of forgotten thrillers and overconfident self-improvement manuals. It comes carrying that glorious mixture of rugby, memory, Welshness and slightly battered heroism that no algorithm has yet managed to bottle properly. Everywhere For Wales is not merely a sports memoir. It is a title with mud on its socks and poetry in its lungs. And what a title it is. Everywhere For Wales. Not ?My Rugby Career.? Not ?Reflections on the Game.? Not ?Lessons in Leadership from the Back Line.? No, this is bigger, nobler, and faintly madder.
