He approaches the issues relating to human factors, usability, and user interface design from the perspective of a computer psychologist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Bailey has served on the faculties of numerous schools, including Columbia University and Stevens Institute of Technology. He is also the author of Human Performance Engineering: A Guide for System Designers, and Human Error In Computer Systems.
