Directed primarily toward graduate/MBA students, this text also provides practical content to current and aspiring industry professionals. Berk and DeMarzo's Corporate Finance uses a unifying valuation framework, the Law Of One Price, to present both core content and new ideas. For a more comprehensive book, Corporate Finance, is also available by Jonathan Berk and Peter DeMarzo.

He served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Finance for eight years, is currently an Academic Director of the Financial Management Association, and is a member of the advisory board of the Journal of Portfolio Management. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Professor Berk is married, with two daughters, and is an avid skier and biker. Peter DeMarzo is the Mizuho Financial Group Professor of Finance and Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He currently teaches MBA and Ph.D. courses in Corporate Finance and Financial Modeling.
