Biografía del autor
Harivansh Rai Bachchan was born in Allahabad in 1907. He acquired immense popularity in the 1930s through his long lyric poem, Madhushala. This was the beginning of a long and illustrious poetic career. Dr Bachchan, who died in 2003, remains one of the most influential figures in Hindi literature of the twentieth century.
