IVAN MARCH, EDWARD GREENFIELD and ROBERT LAYTON are all distinguished writers in the music field. Ivan March is a former professional musician, and now director of the Long Playing Record Library, and a musical journalist. Edward Greenfield receieved the OBE for services to music and journalism in June 1994. Robert Layton has won several awards for his work on Scandinavian music, in which he specializes.
