Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
JULES VERNE (1828-1905) lived and died in France, and developed an early passion for travelling. Verne's stories were invariably fantastic adventures, although they were also highly realistic, especially in his descriptions and the use of science. His other famous stories include AROUND THE WORLD IN EIGHTY DAYS and TWENTY THOUSAND LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA.
